Rejection of the Collection of E-Mail Address without Notice
In order to block indiscriminate sending of e-mails, any requests for collection of e-mail address notified on the website through an e-mail collection program or other technical device not notified by the Center shall be declined. Infringement shall be treated as a criminal offense and penal action taken according to the Information Communication Network Act
Article 50_2 (Prohibition of the Collection of E-Mail Address without Notice)
① No person or entity shall automatically collect users’ e-mail addresses from the Internet homepage through program for collecting e-mail address or other technical device without the prior consent of the Internet homepage operator or manager.
② No person or entity shall sell or distribute the e-mail addresses collected by violating Provision 1.
③ No person or entity shall knowingly use the e-mail addresses prohibited from being collected, sold, and distributed according to Provisions 1 and 2.
